Polpetta Restaurant is the second restaurant for the brand.  It is located in the new The Neighbourhood Square in Bedfordview.

Large woven pendants are contrasted against a black ceiling giving a warm and welcoming glow to the space, touches of Italy such as the green tiles around the bar counter and the patterned floor centrepiece tie into the Italian comfort food served.

Earth Interior Architects Creative Director, Candice Brophy, says “we Wanted to create a warm and inviting feel to the space that compliments the food served, the bar counter is a feature along with the copper-clad pizza oven, for no Italian restaurant is complete without a wood-burning pizza oven.  I think it’s important that a restaurant design doesn’t feel themed but instead picks up on subtle references to the origin of the cuisine, celebrating its heritage and complementing the food.”

Textures are added in the walls and elements that create points of interest and areas of greenery bringing the outdoors inside.  Studies have shown that adding greenery soothes and provides a relaxing environment.
